What is Naturopathy

Naturopathy is based on the belief that the human body has an innate healing ability. Naturopaths teach their clients to use diet, exercise, lifestyle changes and cutting edge natural therapies to enhance their bodies’ ability to prevent, combat disease and restore health.

Naturopathic medicine is an eclectic combination of ancient healing wisdom with modern science. Optimum health is achieved with vitamins and herbs that are designed for the clients’ specific needs. This is a much better way than relying upon the recommendations from people at health food stores, web sites designed to sell products, or books.

Naturopaths look for physical, emotional, dietary, genetic, and environmental factors in a person’s life that could explain an illness.

Dissatisfaction and overworked emotions are enervating. Worry, fear, grief, anger, passion, temper, over-joy, depression, self-pity, pride, egotism, envy, jealousy, gossip, lying, dishonesty, failing to meet obligations and appointments, taking advantage of misunderstandings, abusing the credibility of friends, or abusing the confidence of those who confide in us-all in time build chronic disease. We need to support and strengthen all body systems to be able to survive those toxic emotions by taking vital nutrients. The reality is that not all individuals are willing to take responsibilities for their own health and not all individuals are ready for naturopathy. If the person does not take his supplements with belief that he would have positive outcome they will never feel the power of herbs and whole food supplements.

The first indication that we have any chain of symptoms is discomfort or pain. By the time we feel the pain we have lost 80% of our health and it takes longer time to re-establish optimal health. We become agitated, don’t have patients, and we want a magic pill to feel good right away. Health is available to everyone no matter how rich or how poor you are. You just need to know where to start.

Based on my TV programs I can tell that every single person is interested in finding a way to cure their disease. No one is interested in preventing diseases. I am bombarded with phone calls that are geared toward what needs to be done to fix this or that ailment. Amercans spend billions of dollars on health care, yet we are getting sicker and sicker. We don’t want to understand that the body repairs itself if the opportunity is given. Meaning habits, thoughts, lifestle and distractive activities that we have created over the years don’t give the opportunity for the body heal. I don’t treat diseae, nor I cure anybody of anything. The body does the curing when you give the body the right opportunity.

We live and die at the cellular level. You can’t be healty if your cells are living in junk. We make this marvle into a toxic swamp and we assume that it is the germs that caused us to get sick. Germs multiply when your body’s immune system is down. What causes the immune systems to go down? The toxic thoughts, toxic environment, physical trauma, stress and toxic food. Let’s not forget about stress. They all create acid environment in our body which in turn is the root cause of all diseases.

Thomas Edison said: “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his or her patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” This is exactly what Raya is doing in new era. She wants her clients to learn ways to prevent disease, eat right and take whole food supplements.

Seven Principles of Naturopathy:

  1. First, Do No Harm
  2. Nature has healing powers
  3. Identify and treat the cause
  4. Treat the whole person
  5. The Doctor is a teacher
  6. Prevention is the best cure
  7. Establish health and wellness

We are also happy to report that on September 24th, 2002, California Governor Gray Davis signed into law the most important Health Freedom bill in world history-California SB577. The bill makes health care”wide open.” Doctors of Holistic health, Holistic Health Practitioners, Homeopaths, Naturopaths, Herbalists, Nutritionists, etc., are now free to offer services without harassment.
